Project page rendered and identity confirmed. We did not activate a start/demo action, supply game files, or test gameplay, saving or multiplayer.
Requirements and unknowns
Surf, rather than a complete CS port
Surfd presents a standalone classic/source-style surf experience. The project specifies desktop keyboard and mouse and describes free browser play without a separate download. Those are project statements; our check did not enter gameplay.
Controls listed by the project
Read the original page for current bindings. The following was visible during our page check.
Getting started with movement
The project’s on-ramp tip is to release W on the ramp, strafe toward its face and turn the mouse gently. Treat this as the project’s instruction, not a technique we independently tested.
If keys or mouse movement do not respond, first check the original page’s focus and input instructions. Record the map and browser when reporting a problem; we have not established a universal fix.
Compatibility and check limits
No mobile, controller, map-completion or multiplayer claim is made here. A desktop requirement stated by the project is different from a successful gameplay check on our device.
