Action & Open-World Browser Games
This category covers action and open-world games that now start in a browser: GTA: Vice City, The Simpsons: Hit & Run and the original Diablo. They are community WebAssembly projects, not official releases, and they differ in what they ask of you. Diablo Web offers a free shareware demo or accepts your own game file. The Vice City project imports data from your own copy. Hit & Run reached its New Game menu when we checked it. Each guide explains the start steps and what we did and did not verify. The list is short for now and grows as we check more projects.
Open-world driving: Vice City and Hit & Run
GTA: Vice City Web is an unofficial WebAssembly project that imports game.tar.gz from your own legitimate copy. The Simpsons: Hit & Run reached its animated New Game menu after selecting Play in our check; missions, driving controls and complete game-data requirements remain untested.
Action RPG: Diablo Web
Diablo Web’s start page offers a limited demo without your own MPQ, or full content with your legally obtained DIABDAT.MPQ. TabGameHub supplies no game files.
What these ports need before you start
Your own files
Vice City requires game.tar.gz prepared from your own copy. Diablo’s full content needs DIABDAT.MPQ; the limited demo does not. Hit & Run reached the menu without us supplying files; complete content requirements remain unknown.
Desktop first
All three entries were inspected on desktop. Mobile compatibility and full gameplay input have not been checked.
