TuffyMon Guide: How to Play the 110-0 Challenge
Six Pokémon. Random rolls. One shot at a perfect run. Learn the draft, pick your mode, and head into TuffyMon’s 110-trainer gauntlet.
What is TuffyMon?
TuffyMon is a fan-made Pokémon browser game built around a six-Pokémon draft. Each pick starts with a random generation and type, which limits the Pokémon you can choose. After assembling your team, the challenge is to defeat 110 gym leaders, Elite Four members and Champions without a loss.
The interesting decision happens before the gauntlet: do you take the strongest-looking option from this roll, or a Pokémon that fills a gap in the team you are building?
How to play TuffyMon
For a first visit, we recommend Normal difficulty, Regular Mode and Solo Run. Normal lets you read the Pokémon names and types while learning the draft. This recommendation is based on the visible options, not a completed challenge.
- 01
Open the original TuffyMon homepage. Select Normal under Difficulty and Regular Mode under the 110-0 challenge.
- 02
Choose Solo Run. Wait for the generation-and-type roll to finish and the candidate list to appear.
- 03
Read the current generation and type, then choose one eligible Pokémon. Repeat the selection process until your team has six members.
- 04
Continue to the gauntlet and aim for 110 wins without a loss. Follow the project’s current on-screen instructions for the battle stage; our recorded check stops at draft selection.
Menu captureNormal, Hard or Tuffest?
The homepage describes these as different amounts of information available while drafting. Start with the information you need, then try the recognition challenge later.
Normal
Pokémon, names and types are visible. Our suggested starting point for learning the draft.
Hard
Only silhouettes are shown, with names and types hidden. Best approached when you can identify Pokémon by shape.
Tuffest
No Pokémon is shown; you must enter the exact name yourself. This adds a recall and spelling challenge.

The 110-0 gauntlet and PvP Draft Battle are separate sections on the homepage. Use the descriptions below to pick the task you want; we have not independently played these modes through.
| Mode | What you do |
|---|---|
| Solo Run110-0 CHALLENGE | Draft your six and attempt the 110-0 gauntlet. The homepage lists three runs per difficulty per day, nine in total. |
| Head-to-Head110-0 CHALLENGE | Two people share one screen and alternate picks in the gauntlet section. |
| Vs CPU110-0 CHALLENGE | Draft against a computer opponent in the gauntlet section. |
| CPU PvPPVP DRAFT BATTLE | Snake-draft against the CPU, then send your six against its six in a team battle. |
| PvP Head-to-headPVP DRAFT BATTLE | Two people share a screen, snake-draft six each, then battle their drafted teams. |
Online Head-to-Head and Online PvP were marked Coming Soon and locked on October 12, 2026. Same-screen play does not establish online multiplayer support.
How to think about your first draft
These are starting heuristics, not tested TuffyMon battle rankings. Random rolls change the available choices, and this guide does not establish the project’s damage formula, move selection or a guaranteed winning team.
- 01
Read the constraint first.
A generation-and-type roll defines your eligible pool; a famous Pokémon outside that pool is not an option for this pick.
- 02
Review the team you already have.
As a general drafting heuristic, consider what a new pick adds and whether it repeats a weakness; effectiveness depends on this game’s battle rules.
- 03
Use Normal to learn the options.
In our draft screen, the project said stats stay hidden until the gauntlet, so visible names and types do not reveal every battle detail.
- 04
Check before spending a reroll.
Our initial screen displayed one remaining, but we did not activate it or verify how it resets. Do not assume it renews for every pick.
