Requirements and unknowns
What is Eraly?
Eraly is a free daily browser game where you guess the year of seven historical events. The game's own page describes it as Wordle for history. The same puzzle is given to everyone, and a new puzzle appears every day at midnight local time.
A pixel-art explorer travels through time based on how close your answers are. TabGameHub is not affiliated with Eraly, and we link to the game's own page with the play button. We do not publish today's questions or answers.
How to play Eraly
These steps follow what we saw on October 27, 2026.
- Open the site with the play button on this page.
- Press Start the journey on the start card.
- Read the moment from history shown on the question screen.
- Type the year from 1 to 2026 and press Enter or GO.
- You have 25 seconds per question.
- After your answer, read the real year and the one-line fact, then press Next.
- After the seventh question, see your score out of 700 and where you travelled to.
How Eraly scoring works
Six tiers, up to 700 a day. The closer your guess, the higher the score.
The allowed gap widens for older events. The about page says: being 20 years out for Pompeii is a great guess; for the iPhone it is not. Our test saw a miss of 100 years on an event several centuries old still earn Explorer. We did not map the exact year thresholds, so this page lists none.
Eraly tips
These are practical notes from the rules and our one day of play, not a proven strategy.
- Any answer beats no answer. A guess scores at least 10, but no answer scores 0.
- Time is 25 seconds per question. If you run out, that question scores Lost in time.
- The allowed gap widens for older events. Use the era to judge how far off you can be.
- Read the fact after each answer. It may help with the next question.
- Only years 1 to 2026 are accepted per the input hint.
- The share result hides answers, so you can post without spoilers.
What you see after seven questions
The results screen shows your score out of 700, the year you travelled to and the era, and a curve with Better than X percent of today's travellers. Below that is a time log of the seven answers with your guess and the real year for each question.
Copy and share buttons appear at the bottom, along with rating and idea boxes. The share text hides answers per the about page. We did not press the copy or share buttons in our test.

What our check covers
TabGameHub played one full daily game of seven questions on October 27, 2026 in headless Chrome and reached the results screen. We read the about and terms pages. We did not test a phone, sound, the share and copy buttons, the Wardrobe beyond its first item, streaks, other days or the paid Infinite pass.
The terms page says every question is checked against Wikipedia by the game's creator. That is the creator's statement, and we did not verify it. Questions on this page are never listed.
